Privacy statement

1. Who is responsible

Frespar BV, Gotegemstraat 27, 9450 Haaltert, Belgium, VAT/KBO BE 1001.359.209, info@frespar.be, 02 883 92 18 ("Frespar") is responsible for your personal data.

2. What we collect

What you enter in the form: your name, email, delivery city, your message and the tree you choose.

Only if you allow it in the cookie banner: information about your visit, such as the pages you view, clicks, your device and browser, your approximate location and IP address, collected by the tools listed in our cookie statement.

3. Why

To confirm your tree, send the invoice, arrange delivery and contact you about it. The legal basis is the performance of the sales contract and our accounting obligations.

We only email you about our next collections if you tick that box in the form; you can unsubscribe at any time with a reply or the link in each email.

Statistics and advertising cookies are only used with your consent. We never sell your data.

4. Cookies, statistics and advertising

With your permission, Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics help us see how the site is used. Google Ads, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel (Facebook, Instagram) measure which of our ads bring visitors and show our ads to relevant people.

For the Meta Pixel, Frespar and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. are jointly responsible for collecting and transmitting the data; what Meta does with it afterwards falls under Meta's own privacy policy. Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn process the data under their own terms and privacy policies.

We keep a record of your choice (date, banner version and choices) in your browser so we can respect and prove it. You can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of each page; this does not affect use before the withdrawal. Details per tool are in the cookie statement.

5. How long

Data linked to an invoice is kept for 7 years, as Belgian accounting law requires. If a choice does not lead to a sale, we delete your data after 12 months. Your email for the mailing list is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your cookie choice is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again. Cookie durations per tool are in the cookie statement.

6. Who receives it

Only the people at Frespar who handle your order, the delivery partner (name, address, date) and our secure hosting provider within the EU.

If you allow it: Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn and Meta, for the purposes in section 4.

7. Outside the European Union

Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn and Meta may process data in the United States. They are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as offering adequate protection.

8. Your rights

You can view, correct or delete your data, limit or object to its use, receive a copy and withdraw consent. Write to info@frespar.be; we reply within one month.

You can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
